Horse Racing - Flat Courses - York

York Racecourse is a well-known horse racing venue located in York, North Yorkshire, England. It is considered one of the premier racecourses in the United Kingdom and hosts some of the country's most prestigious flat racing events.

The racecourse spans over 200 acres of land and has a reputation for its beautiful setting and excellent facilities. It has several grandstands, including the Knavesmire Stand, the Ebor Stand, and the County Stand, which offer fantastic views of the racecourse and its surroundings.

York Racecourse hosts over 18 days of racing each year, including the famous York Ebor Festival, which takes place over four days in August and is one of the most significant race meetings in the UK. The course is also renowned for its long, straight, and wide track, which provides a fair test of speed and stamina for horses.
